Mike Rorie has been a participant in the green industry for over four decades. Mike founded GroundMasters in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1979 and grew the company to a multi-city regional operation before selling to a national provider in 2006.

In 2010, Mike became involved in the tech side of the green industry by mentoring and eventually acquiring GIS Dynamics, creators of Go iLawn. Go iLawn, a SaaS application that provides online property measuring for the green industry, is now called Property Intelligence and resides under the Aspire platform.

Partnering with his daughter, Rachel, and members of his former management team, Mike started a new commercial grounds maintenance company, GroundSystems in 2014. Today, GroundSystems serves 1300 customers out of four branches in three cities, and employs over 300 green industry professionals.

Along with sitting on the board at GroundSystems, Mike enjoys mentoring green industry professionals and staying involved in industry events and organizations.
